Abstract
Tokyo Incidents (東京事変 / “Tokyo Jihen”) are a Japanese jazz-rock group. The band was created by the solo artist Ringo Shiina, following her departure from a successful career in the domestic market. Since forming in 2003, there have been two different lineups, with guitarist Mikio Hirama and keyboard player Masayuki Hiizumi (HZM) leaving in 2005 to follow their own musical career paths.
